Yale Bright Star Catalogue

The 9110 stars used in our database come from a collection of databases, primarily we use the Yale Bright Star Catalogue. Aswell as this, we use SIMBAD and IAU for various parts of the calculations used to plot the stars. The Yale Bright Star Catalogue contains roughly every star visible to the naked eye on Earth
